ABOUT ME
I’m an actress, writer, director, and podcast host who recently moved to coastal Ireland from Los Angeles after two decades in NYC.
I received my MA in Creative Writing and Literature from Harvard University and my BA in Theater from Pepperdine University, Malibu.
My plays and screenplays have been selected for the Chateau Orquevaux Artist-Writer Residency in France, the Athena Film Festival Writers Lab in NYC, The National Winter Playwrights Retreat in Colorado, and a play reading at the New Plays Lab at the Inge Festival in Kansas. I was selected for the Hollywood Radio & Television Society Mentorship Program and was a Semifinalist for the highly competitive The Writer’s Lab in NYC.
As a filmmaker, I directed, wrote, produced, and starred in the comedic short film Survival Job that won over a dozen awards on the festival circuit across the United States and UK. I also wrote and co-created a short filmed entirely on iPhone during the pandemic in Michigan.
My acting credits include theatre: Broadway (with Laura Linney and Alicia Silverstone), Edinburgh Fringe Festival, regional theaters and Television and Film with roles on The Noel Diaries (Netflix), FBI (CBS), The Blacklist (NBC), and Mildred Pierce (HBO).
I created and hosted a popular event series and podcast The Happier Hour: Philosophy To Help Life Suck Less that was featured in The New York Times and Time Out New York.
As a teacher and facilitator I’ve delivered hundreds of workshops and keynotes both virtually and in person on emotional intelligence and storytelling across sectors including: Google, Viacom, Sony Music, Uber, HSB, Publicis, The Financial Times, The British Army, The Institute of Physics, Universal Music, Miro, and TEDx.
I’m currently in rewrites for a comedy feature, a dark comedy television pilot and a play about Mary Wollstonecraft and Mary Shelley, and in the early stages of a script inspired by the magical folklore of my new home in Ireland.
